A mobile dentist provides dental care directly at a patient’s home, residence, or care facility using portable dental equipment. Waypoint Mobile Dentistry offers mobile dentistry and house call dental services so patients can receive professional dental care without traveling to a traditional dental office.
Yes. Waypoint Dentistry provides mobile dental services, house call dentistry, and on-site dental care throughout Maryland and Northern Virginia. Our team travels directly to homes, private residences, assisted living communities, and care facilities.

Yes. Waypoint Dentistry follows strict infection control and sterilization protocols similar to those used in traditional dental offices. Our portable dental equipment is designed to deliver safe and effective dental care in a home or on-site environment.
Many dental services can be performed during a mobile dental appointment, including exams, cleanings, digital x-rays, fillings, extractions, denture care, and urgent dental treatment. Treatment recommendations are determined during the initial exam.
Most mobile dental appointments last between 45 and 90 minutes depending on the services being performed.
We only require a small clean area and access to a standard electrical outlet. Our team brings all portable dental equipment and supplies needed for your mobile dental visit.

Yes. Diagnostic x-rays are generally required to properly evaluate oral health and diagnose dental conditions. Waypoint Dentistry uses portable digital x-ray equipment so images can be taken safely during your house call or on-site dental visit.
If a patient is unable to tolerate dental x-rays due to medical, physical, or behavioral limitations, care will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Some treatments may be limited without appropriate diagnostic imaging.
Yes. We use portable digital x-ray systems designed specifically for mobile dentistry. These systems allow us to safely capture diagnostic images during an in-home dental visit.
Yes. Fluoride treatments may be recommended during preventive visits to strengthen enamel and help reduce the risk of cavities.
Yes. For patients who prefer an alternative, remineralizing options such as hydroxyapatite-based treatments may be discussed. Preventive recommendations are always based on the patient’s individual oral health needs.
The cost of mobile dental care depends on the services provided. Because Waypoint Dentistry delivers house call dentistry and on-site dental care, a travel fee may apply in addition to treatment costs.
Waypoint Dentistry operates as a private pay mobile dental practice. If you have dental insurance, we can provide a detailed claim form and documentation that you may submit directly to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
A partial payment is required at the time of scheduling your mobile dental appointment. The remaining balance is due at the time services are rendered during your house call dental visit.
Yes. Financing options may be available through our third-party partner Cherry, which allows eligible patients to spread the cost of treatment over time.
You can request a mobile dental visit through our website or by contacting our office directly. Our team will guide you through the scheduling process and schedule your house call dental appointment at a convenient time.
